There are thousands of legends about Altai. And it is not by chance. Altai Land carries treasures in its sacred depths. One of its main treasures is its people. People whom we met at Altai are a whole palette of colors, creating an unusual beautiful picture. All of them are different, but there is one thing in common uniting everybody into one. All of them, whatever nationality they are, all of them are open hearted and have wonderful hearts. They are like children who can feel without words, they are wise people, who appreciate their inner world and of course, mountains and majestic Altai nature. Everybody is like a precious stone. And all together they are one invisible diamond shining and spreading its light to be seen and felt with hearts. In the severe Altai climate, people show their stability, creative forces and love to life. We will touch the lives of a few of them, and let the veil be lifted on the inner beauty of this multi-national people living in "Sky Land". Everybody has his/her own fate and we can tell that everybody is a unique being, that includes the entire world, and everybody has his/her great accomplishments. Together all of these people, even those we don't mention in these pages, represent seeds of a Common dream about Altai of being a place to make humans out of people, a territory for the future.
